Archest handled the renovation of the gas station on Regional Road 56 in front of the Danieli plant in Buttrio. The old gas station was renovated and now hosts the Fucine café and bistro.

The architectural and artistic project, commissioned by the Danieli Group, was developed by Marco Zito, who focused the intervention on respecting the pre-existing building, designed in the sixties by the architect Marcello D’Olivo, where ten columns support the arched canopy. For seismic safety, the columns were reinforced with the help of cylindrical steel formwork that allowed the structural cementitious liner to be “injected” from below. The concrete roof preserves the footprint of the original formwork. Floor-to-ceiling windows and lighting design enhance volumes, despite of different seasons and light conditions.

Archest handled the authorization, executive design and construction management together with PSE srl, who took care of the plant design in the various phases.
