The foundation stone for the Chelyabinsk sports city has been laid in a ceremony attended by leading figures from the city and region. The promoter of the work, which has an estimated cost of approximately 60 million euros, is a Russian copper company. RMK-Arena, designed by Archest in collaboration with PICHLER Strutture in acciaio & Facciate and KONAR Industrial Group, will be the central element of the work, a multifunctional sports complex of 4 floors over a surface of 35,000 square metres.
