The surface works of the Milan Metro’s Blue Line are nearing completion. The new M4 line connects the city centre with the eastern part (Q.re Forlanini and Linate Airport) and the western part (Q.re Lorenteggio and San Cristoforo Station), integrating the urban transport network. Its realisation makes it possible to reduce traffic to the benefit of public transport, with considerable benefits for users but also for the environment. Archest has updated the final design and prepared the detail design for the surface works of the western part of the M4 and in detail of the stops: ST03 Gelsomini, ST04 Frattini, ST05 Tolstoj, ST06 Bolivar, ST07 Foppa, ST08 Parco Solari and ST01 San Cristoforo Station.
