On Monday, Nov. 7, the Municipality of Baselga di Pinè approved the preliminary design for the “Ice Rink Oval,” the new indoor ice rink stadium in Miola, which will host the long rink speed-skating competitions of the upcoming Milano Cortina 2026 Olympics.

The new 50M€ stadium will have an extension of 18,000 square meters and a maximum height of 17 meters.
Asf (Archest Special Structures and Facades) handled the structural design. The architectural design is a project of Studio Zoppini Architetti while United Consulting of Milan delivered the plant design and GeoAlp of San Cristoforo di Pergine handled the geological design.
