Construction work has been completed on the “Borc de Roe” social housing project financed by Banca Finint and carried out by Icop (I.CO.P. S.p.A. Società Benefit).

The aim of the project was to improve quality of life and interpersonal relationships between residents by creating spaces for sharing and social interaction. The work consists of two courtyard-style buildings with a total of 46 residential units overlooking a fully pedestrianised space for social activities, a children’s playground and green areas.

The buildings were constructed with a prefabricated system using wood frames.
Archest handled all stages of the architectural and structural design in addition to managing the works, together with Cooprogetti Scrl which handled the system design.
