Mini Auditorium WORLD FOOD PROGRAMME
The renovation project in the ground floor area of Green Tower in the World Food Programme Headquarter offices in Rome involves the regulatory compliance and the MEP system upgrading. The aim of the partial expansion of the area is create a multifunctional space called \”Miniauditorium” configurable by movable walls in spaces for conferences, meetings and banquets.
The floor area of approx. 370 is higher than the previous one thanks to the advancement of north and the south-east façades of about 1.30 m outside. The glazed façade could be moved to its original position in the future, as required by the client, thanks to an economic and technological-easy to implement solution.
The integration between architectural design and MEP systems has been strictly checked in each project phase to respond to every specific client’s requirements from the design to the construction site supervision, to optimize the construction costs.
The formal unit to the overall space is guaranteed by finishing, that express the necessary sobriety of the place maintaining its aesthetic value.
All planned works comply with the requirements of the LEED Protocol for New buildings and renovations.
The design choices are oriented towards the use of \”dry\” building technologies and of easily-assembled finishing elements, in order to reduce timing and facilitate the execution of the work.
