The planning strategy foreshadows an urban renewal intervention regarding the buildings of the thermal centre of Arta Terme, localised in a peculiar landscape and composed of heterogeneous buildings: Edificio Valle (60s), Edificio Varnier (80s), Edificio delle Acque (00s).
The renovation and completion of the existing buildings will improve the range of wellness services. The project consists of the renovation of the inhalation therapy area (Edificio Valle), the extension of the changing rooms and the construction of a restaurant (Edificio Varnier), the completion of the SPA (Edificio Varnier), whose construction was interrupted (2012), and the regeneration of outdoor spaces.
The project consists also in the construction of a new pavilion functionally and formally connected with the Edificio delle Acque which hosts new swimming pools. In front of it, paved terraces represent a sort of indoor-to-outdoor extension of this pavilion.
